Inteha is a story about an egotistical woman played by Sumbul Iqbal. It is all about female power and woman empowerment.Falaknaz (Sumbul Iqbal) serves as the right hand of her father in his extensive business instead of her younger brother Zaeem (Muneeb Butt), who is more interested in being a singer. Consequently, she is egotistical, bossy and self-assured. Their youngest sister, Shehwar (Sanam Chaudhry) is demure and unambitious.Falak, on the other hand, has her parents, Mr and Mrs. Jawed, eating out of her hands, as they find her to be the beta that their original son failed to be. Every major decision, including the fate of the younger siblings, is decided majorly by Falak, something that irks her only brother Zaeem tediously.

The storyline is definitely quite intriguing though the sheer amount of praise lavished on Falak, in a single episode, got a tad bit annoying because it felt repetitive and tiresome. The acting of the entire crew was commendable. Sumbul Iqbal’s portrayal of the rigid Falak was pretty convincing. She got the attitude and facial expressions right but her dialogue delivery lacked the effortlessness that some of the other actresses posses.

All in all, it will be interesting to watch the progression of the drama to see how Falak gels in with her in-laws considering her dominating nature and her reaction to Moid’s boyish demeanour. And more importantly what role will Dr.Sheheryar play in all this.
